At Heijmans, we work every day to create a healthy, safe and sustainable living environment. We reduce our CO2 emissions step by step, using emission‑free equipment, circular solutions and smart construction methods. Yet some emissions remain that we cannot fully avoid at this moment. That’s why we choose to temporarily compensate these residual emissions through a certified, local climate project. In Biddinghuizen (the Netherlands), hard plastics from the construction sector are high‑quality recycled into new raw materials. This prevents CO2 emissions and strengthens the circular economy. In this way, we contribute to more sustainable construction in the Netherlands, in a manner that aligns with our own ambitions.
