We strive for a world in which carbon emissions are reduced to a minimum. We believe that the circular economy plays a vital role. Dedicated to stewardship, we want to accelerate the transition. We do this together.

Currently the linear economy (product is waste after use) dominates at the expense of the new desired circular economy (product is raw material after use). Driven by our mission to stimulate the circular economy, ORCA has successfully applied for carbon credits with regard to the recycling of rigid plastics at the National Carbon Market Foundation. Despite the climate benefit, the recycling of these plastics does not get off the ground, mainly due to heavy competition from new virgin plastics.
Now we would like to make other circular projects possible with carbon financing. Also we want to collaborate with climate-conscious companies that are willing to invest in these projects by purchasing carbon credits. With the aim to accelerate the transition to a climate neutral and circular economy.

Why is the company called ORCA?

Our company has many similarities with the orca. We highlight a number of them:

Orcas work closely together in large groups. A great similarity with the collaboration that is being sought at ORCA, with climate-conscious companies that invest in a circular project through carbon offsetting. Together we make impact!

Speed

Orcas are known as fast swimmers. Speed is also necessary to achieve the Paris Agreement. The time frame is short and all actions are necessary. ORCA offers companies with carbon offsetting an immediate way to reduce unavoidable carbon emissions elsewhere. Every euro you invest today will contribute to CO2 reduction tomorrow.
